CAROLINA CONFERENCE ON NATIVE AMERICAN RECRUITMENT UNC-Chapel Hill will host the 4th annual Conference on Native American Recruitment at the William and Ida B. Friday Center for Continuing Education on Friday, March 26 from 10 AM until 2 PM. Tribal leaders, state officials, community leaders and education specialists from throughout the state have been invited to share insights, ideas and information with the group. Rita Locklear, Director of Indian Education from the Native American Resource Center in Robeson County and Mickey Locklear, Educational Talent Search Coordinator from the NC Commission of Indian Affairs will be among presenters.
