PROJECT UPLIFT IS NOW UNDERWAY! Seventy (70) American Indian students were invited to participate in Project Uplift 2004, a 2-day event for rising high school seniors. Pre-Orientation is scheduled for August 20-23. Small group sessions will include discussion on academic support services, counseling services, student activities and cultural support organizations. Students who plan to attend Carolina in the fall will be invited in late June and July. Additional information can be obtained by calling 919-962-6962. This fall, Carolina will work with American Indian parents, educators and high school students to identify Ameican Indian juniors and seniors who are interested in admission at Carolina.
