Subject: TNASWEB News! the Basics in Volunteer Management The North Carolina Association of Volunteer Administration (NCAVA) is pleased to offer the Basics in Volunteer Management course online. A minimum of 8 students is required to run the class. The class will begin February 12 and end April 29 (10 weeks). After enrollment, there is no set time to "log on" each day. Graduates of the class will receive 12 hours toward NCAVA certification as a Certified Administrator of Volunteers in North Carolina and one Continuing Education Credit from Southeastern Community College. Anyone interested can take the course. However, if you have already taken "Basics in Volunteer Management" you will not receive twice the credits toward NCAVA certification. The tuition cost of the course is $55. A handbook is required, which is only $5. Anyone, anywhere can take this course. Out-of-state tuition DOES NOT apply.
