Here is the description: INROADS Job Announcement POSITION TITLE: National Recruiter---------- AFFILIATE: SRC - National Recruitment STATUS: POSITION DESCRIPTION JOB PURPOSE: Shared Resource Center position responsible for national college recruiting, to include sourcing applicants in addition to other related responsibilities. DUTIES: 1.Assist in the development and implementation of an aggressive college recruitment plan to align with the national recruitment strategy to staff all open positions within the enterprise. 2.Develop and implement sourcing strategies including internet recruiting, referral generation, ad placement, posting positions, cold calling, and networking to develop a qualified pool of candidates. 3.Routinely track status of candidates identified and referred and report recruitment activity. 4.To maintain, through personal contacts, correspondence, and telephone calls, follow-up contact with prospective candidates. 5.Conduct recruitment orientations and information sessions. 6.Distribute and collect mini-applications and transcript release forms from interested candidates; forward to IS in a timely manner. 7.Develop effective partnerships with universities and community groups. 8.Work within established recruitment budget. 9.Maintain current database in INROADS On-line (IOL) of education and community contacts. 10.Other duties as assigned and directed by SRC Management. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree required. Prior recruiting experience in an educational setting or non-profit environment preferred. Prior work experience involving college and high school students preferred. Previous work experience with underrepresented groups preferred. Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred. OTHER KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/REQUIREMENTS: Computer literate. Excellent marketing and customer relations skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to sell concept of INROADS. Highly organized. Public speaking experience. Ability to work independently in a focused manner, as well as in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with accuracy and timeliness. Ability to analyze and apply data. Must be flexible and able to competently handle recruitment responsibilities within deadlines. Ability to operate general office equipment and laptop. Must occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Valid drivers license and insurance required. Hours are varied and irregular. Employee must work evenings and weekends a minimum of 30% of the time and travel is required 65% of the time during the recruitment blitz season (August-March).
