There are several American Indian tribes and nations that support federal acknowledgement for the Lumbee (http://www.hunterbear.org/lumbee_indians_of_north_carolina.htm I wish there was more I could do to help! Living in South Florida I find it impossible to get support as a Minority Business Owner (www.nativeservices.com) because Lumbees are not fully recognized by the federal government.
