I along with several Lumbee in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana have tried to reach our Reps as well as anyone esle in the Tribal Government. FACT & DOCUMENTED: This may seem rather hard to beleive but it can been documented - have called (used wireless to show proof on bill) well over 50 times; have e-mailed well of 100 times (using receipt comfirmation sofware); and with me doing all the mailing have sent out a packet to exactly 467 people in the Lumbee Tribe including anyone invovled in any kind of Tribal Govenment, Office and Committee. As of January 7, 2004 - have received a total of ZERO reponses from the e-mails and letters and only 8 people have spoken with me on the phone. So it is a fact that our Tribe is "ignoring" those outside the Lumbee Area and they refuse to comply to Communication Requirements. I realize that many may find this un-believable but I will be happy to send the information to yo if you so desire to see it for yourself. Plus: E-mails and letters via the U.S. Postal Service. FACT: Darlene Jacobs has yet to return a single message! FACT: Letters also sent to Jimmy Goins, and the entire Tribal Office Staff. Not a single reponse as of yet! So as anyone can see this is real and not an Illusion. Refusal of communicate is definite sign of problem!
