Mr. Locklear, will all do respect, I do NOT need some congratulatory sentiment stating my obvious position. Reasoning is the point of this total discussion, something that I don’t think many of us have been privy to partaking. I have always been at “that point of reasoning.” Consequently, I wish more of us were. Your words of realizing that Dr. Woods and many of you getting your point across as, "REDUCE EVERYTHING TO THE RIDICULOUS!" is something that I think we are not fully cognitively analyzing. You see, my friend, if we were all slowing down to “reason,” then these discussion and this message board would NOT be in place. Truly, where does reasoning begin? Personally, I think it should have begun far beyond this point – the point of bashing and ruining reputations because of personal agendas. Now, being that I have made my stance, I urge you to look at all sides of the situation. The things that have been discussed concerning the council, tribal staff, etc. are one-sided. Many of the hinges that Dr. Woods makes her case are in fact things that occurred prior to Ms. Jacobs’ current position. Point of issue, the purchase of mobile homes… voted on by the council prior to her appointment. The purchase of land… again, voted on by the council prior to her appointment. The inheritance of these problems stemmed from previous administration. As I have said before, and will state again, there is plenty of blame to go around. Have you seriously taking a look at the positive things that have occurred during the current administration? So many times we look at dismissal things that ultimately alter our perceptions. Look at the good sometimes. Maybe that could be a coalition of reasoning, yes? I think all of us support the notion of accountability. In that “reasoning,” lets fully look at the picture, from all aspects. You see some blemishes. I do, too. But you know what, the blemishes I see are blemishes that have occurred since the inception of the council, the hiring of Dr. Woods and yes, even Ms. Jacobs. None are perfect. It is important that we try not to single out the faults of a few and never discuss those of all. Are you in for that type of reasoning? I am…
