Where does the former Tribal Chairman, Milton Hunt, lie in all this Lumbee Hoopla? Everywhere you turn you hear the name Darlene Jacobs. Wasn't Hunt her superior? Did he not initiate or approve the actions taken by Ms. Jacobs? It seems that Ms. Jacobs got caught up in a game of hardball and got some very hardknocks that others should have been held accountable. Where does our alustrious Lumbee Tribal Council lie in this scenairio? Where they unaware? Ignorance is neither an excuse or defense. The fact of the matter anyone who is elected to represent the best interests of Lumbee people are to be held to a higher level of accountability than those who are merely appointed. I say that we, as Lumbee people, are responsible in the way that we vote when we go to the polls. And for those who didn't, shut up and don't complain, take whatever you get or maybe more appropriately, whatever you DON'T get. We better keep our eyes peeled on what's going on in Tribal Government, cause things haven't hit the fan yet. For those of you who have eye problems, laser surgery is not going to suffice; you're gonna need a transplant! Note: If this appears twice on this site, it's because cyberspace even has an issue accepting the truth about the PROBLEM WITH INDIAN BUSINESS!
