Ms. Robin, if you have read your constitution you would fully understand that it give any member of the Lumbee Tribe the right to question any dealings of the Tribal Council. It even goes ahead and informs us that we can even take action against those things we feel are inappropriate or depriving to the Lumbee Tribe. Like Dr. Woods, I even contacted HUD in regards to the issues that have been going on for sometime. You would be surprised to know that number of tribal members who have contacted HUD. I agree with you Ms. Jacobs is a wonderful person, I feel she was used to obtain support and votes for some of current tribal members. It is important to understand the importance of documentation. I sure hope Ms. Jacobs documented all the events that took place in her office. Please understand Ms. Robin, this is federal money that the Council is dealing with. If there are any discrepanies, they will not them. If there have been any wrongdoing, they will let them be known. If there have been any illegal activities they will file charges. I have to say, we need someone competent and knowledgeable, not someone who has done what everyone else wanted them to done, accordingly to Ms. Darlene, per the Robesonian/Fayetteville Times. I felt she should have understand her duties and responsibilities and the importance of have a clean record with HUD. Once they have review everything, maybe a lot of things will come to light. Furthermore, the HUD money that the Tribal Government now has, may go to someone else. What will the Tribal Council and the Office Staff do then? Will those that are getting rich(illegally, behind the scenes activities) be there to keep the Tribal Office open for business? It is time to clean house and get rid of all the dirty laundry. It's time to cut all ties to individuals who are corrupt. It's time to do what's right, help those in need and not those who just want.
